Choosing the Right Solution for Your Needs

Having so many options can seem overwhelming at first. However, the consultation visit allows you to sift through the options to discover what is best for you. It is a one-on-one visit where you personally meet with Dr. Aivaz, a double board-certified physician. During the consultation you can expect to:
  • Discuss what results you want to see
  • Go over any medical history
  • Ask any questions you might have
  • Learn about your options and the benefits of each
  • Build your personalized treatment plan

What Is a Treatment Session Like?

Dermal filler treatments take very little time but can produce comprehensive results. Most of the time, a visit will take less time than a lunch break, but the benefits can last for months and beyond.
Treatment Session Overview
  • Step 1: Numb the treatment area. After numbing, patients report virtually no pain. Some very light discomfort is normal but well-tolerated in most patients.
  • Step 2: Inject the fillers into treatment areas. How long this takes will depend on the number of injections and how many areas you want to treat. Expect < 30 minutes in most cases.
  • Step 3: Enjoy your results. Many fillers provide near-instant enhancements, and patients can walk out the door already enjoying their results.

Your Results: Duration and Quality

Dr. Aivaz takes the time to ensure high-quality outcomes in each of her patients. No injection is ever rushed. Instead, she carefully plans each treatment plan based on your individual skin type, facial structure, and expected outcomes.
Dermal filler results are not permanent, but their duration is flexible. Part of the appeal of fillers is patients do not need to commit to a permanent change in their appearance. Instead, you can choose a filler that lasts anywhere from a few months to over a year. If you like the look, you can have a quick and easy touch-up treatment. If you want to try something different, you can also do that!

Frequently Asked Questions

Fillers are a soft, jelly-like substance composed of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule that naturally occurs in the human body, and it is found in our skin. The main function of hyaluronic acid is to hydrate and add volume to the skin.

By replacing the hyaluronic acid that is lost over time due to aging and sun exposure, fillers can create lift, add volume, soften fine lines and wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance to areas of the face that show signs of aging.

The dermal fillers consisting of hyaluronic acid that Dr. Aivaz uses include Restylane, Juvederm, RHA, and Belotero. Hyaluronic acid is often favored over other filler substances because it can be dissolved (with an enzyme called hyaluronidase) should there be a need to do so.
